With ItCooking classes you will enjoy a fantastic creative experience in the kitchen of a Renaissance Villa.
You'll learn to cook the Tuscan style, our chefs will guide you in preparing a complete Italian/Tuscan meal while learning the techniques of homemade pasta, such as ravioli, tagliatelle, gnocchi and much more
According to the season, you will learn the art of making sauces such as fresh basil pesto, tomato and basil, meat sauce with porcini mushrooms and sweet onions, meat or duck sauce and much more. Our chefs will teach you the secret of making the most delicious tiramisu you will have ever eaten.
Our cooking classes are participative and include both hands-on cooking and visits to food artisans, olive oil and wine producers, local food markets, and food festivals. Our cooking classes are taught in Italian and in English. After class you will eat what you’ve prepared in the park of the Villa surrounded by the hills of Chianti if weather allows.
As the Villa is very close to the Ugolino Golf Club before or after the cooking class you could have the opportunity to play golf surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
There will be plenty of free time to explore the area on your own; we will be happy to organize trips for you to any of the many local towns of the Chianti area.
You’ll want to take advantage of local markets, festivals or sagre, and flea markets. Depending on the time of year, you may have the opportunity to watch the Easter "Scoppio del Carro" in Piazza del Duomo in Florence, to enjoy the atmosphere of the Palio in Siena, to walk in Tuscany’s best antiques market in Arezzo’s Piazza Grande, to share the tradition of the wine and olive oil festivals in Greve, or even to experience first hand the "vendemmia" (grape harvest) immersed in the beautiful countryside of Chianti.
