The area where the Ubo Bing estate is located, between Certaldo, Montespertoli, Sesto Fiorentino and San Casciano, was inhabited by the Etruscan people from 1000 to 300 BC it was very rich area in wheat cultivation, during the restoration of the villa and the cellars Mr. Bing found 10 m. deep under the villa some spaces dug into the tuff containing deep cylindrical voids where the Etruscans kept the grain, the Etruscan granaries.
